Tony grew up in Ringgold, Georgia and it was there he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 16. After attending college for a couple of years, Tony joined the United States Air Force and served on active duty for 15 years. In 1986, he was assigned to Keesler Air Force Base where he met the love of his life, Edie, and they were married in March 1987.

In the fall of 1996, Tony surrendered his life to preach the gospel and separated from the USAF in 1999. He has served as pastor of 4 churches and retired from Manley Baptist Church in Morristown, Tennessee in April 2024.

Tony and Edie have two children: Kristen, who is married to Jeremiah Young, and Joshua, who is married to Alex. Tony and Edie have 3 granddaughters: Kamdyn Young, Evie Young, and Nora Buchanan.

Tony attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Divinity Degree. Additional, he attended Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

The passion of Tony’s ministry is building reproducing disciples of Christ. He accomplishes this through passionate preaching and teaching. He longs to see those who do not know Jesus come to faith and also encourages believers to live a faithful, victorious Christian life.

Tony enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, camping and is an avid runner.
